I was in Upper Pines Campground a couple weeks ago and I noticed a beautiful tree with large white flowers.  So I dug The Laws Field Guide To The Sierra Nevada (purchase at the Yosemite Store!) out and looked it up.  I found from the book that it was a Mountain Dogwood.
